Blood Tests

In order to provide the best picture of your testosterone health, there are a few additional blood tests which we recommend. These tests will not only establish your testosterone level, but will also analyze the metabolism of testosterone. If testosterone is found to be low, these tests will help identify if the low level is caused by primary or secondary hypogonadism. It is also important to check thyroid and adrenal function as deficiencies in these hormones can cause symptoms which overlap with low testosterone. The recommended panel includes the following tests: Testosterone F&Total; Complete Blood Count (CBC); Metabolic Panel (CMP); Sensitive Estradiol; LH; Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH); and DHEA-S
